Multiple wireless networks on my X30-how to remove/select

(Apologies...I realized that I changed the nature of the post slightly and the thread should be named a little differently from my original post.--Karen)

Having found no answer to the below from Comcast or anyone else, I am thinking of creating another email account such as gmail, but I think I am still confused about configuring some of the wireless networks I have encountered, such as the ones at Corner Bakery, etc. Both the Dell WLAN and Odyssey display multiple wireless networks when I am trying to connect and I can't figure out how to make either of them connect to the specific network I am looking for. I have tried selecting the network (i.e. cornerbakerywifi), but I seem to be defaulting to something else all together. I think I just need instructions on how to select a connection from these lists.

I frequently use my X30, which has both the Odyssey Client and the Dell WLAN Utility, to read my email (comcast) by wifi at places like Corner Bakery, Cosi, etc., as well as through hotel wifi when traveling. I have a subscription to Boingo as well. The issue is with the way my Comcast inbox displays. I have double sets of navigation buttons and I can't seem to use them to delete, move messages to folders, mark items as junk mail, etc. I suspect that I have my display set up wrong, but I am confused by the different ways to view this (i.e. default, single column, etc.). Does anyone have any advice to offer? Thanks.

Your Axim will preferentially connect to any network to which it has previously connected. Most likely at some point you told it to connect to one of the alternative networks in the vicinity and it will continue trying to use it.

To remove unwanted networks, get outside of their range, turn on WiFi, tap the Powerbar icon in the lower right, select 'Edit Wireless Profiles,' hold the stylus on the names of any unwanted networks and 'Remove Settings' (you can actually select each ones you see and remove all of them but if any actually work, you can leave it).

Now, the next time you are within range, turn on WiFi and chose the correct network from the 'New networks found' popup screen that will appear.

Excellent - thanks so much for the response. I love my Axim and these forums, especially with knowledgeable people like yourself, make them even more useful. Thanks again.
