I'm not sure I understand your post properly. If you're running 2003 have you tried the new 2003 driver? Are you saying you still have issues with the new driver?

oh ok. Personally, I'd return it. There are other cards that DO work.

I just got mine, downloaded the wm2003 drivers last night, tried it in the store,(Staples) connected to WiFi two(2) stores down. Got home and while I was setting up my access point, my Ax connected to one of my neighbors AP. I tried the Dlink dcf-660w before, and it couldn't find anything, even at work.

Well I'm not sure what power issues you are referring to. It came up fine and stayed running until I was done. I then went to turn it back on and it didn't find my wifi network. If I pull the card and reseat it, then it finds it. The major problem I'm having is sending e-mail. I can receive fine but when I send it says to check your settings or see if your connected to to your network. I know I'm connected because I can surf the web or send mail without any problems, double and triple checked my outgoing mail server settings and they are correct but I still can't send.
any ideas?

Mine worked fine as a memory card, but I (unfortunatley) don't have a WiFi network so I was hoping to see if there were any neighbors that had it.

But I don't think the area that I live in is technologically driven. =\

th drivers do take care of the card not being found. I had no power issues.

I'll have to take it for a walk ;)

Worried

I have the latest and greatest Dell Axim X5 with 2003 and I had ordered the card, before I found out about the problems posted, however, now I have the card. Do I perform the install of the CD that came with the card and then do the update from the Sandisk Website for 2003, or do I just use the update from the website for 2003?

Its not an update, but the WI-FI utility is not on the 2003 version. Is that because those functions are more integrated into WM2003? I apologize for my ignorance on the subject, inquiring minds just want to know. I have noticed a serious slow down with the card in. I'm stopping by Circuit City to check the connection today. They have Wi-Fi. My connection at office is still incomplete due to IT issues.

I dropped by the sidewall of CC and connected no problem. You should not use anything on the enclosed CD if your running WM2003. My axim runs great and this site looks awesome on X5.
