will a bluetooth headset improve skype

right now, skype is loaded on my axim x30 & is "functional"..But, people have trouble hearing me...i don't knowif it's the internal mic, the x30, or a skype thing...
to the point i'm reluctant to use it for skype even though it seems to have so much potential.

should i expect a significant improvement if i get a bluetooth headset to use skype? or if it's not so good now; i shouldn't expect much improvement???

heyy i have used skype on my x51v and i found it to be better using the internal mike (mind the mic might be better in the x50 series, and i was using a very cheap bluetooth headset) i still wouldnt to see too much of an increase

hmmm that's disappointing to hear...maybe someone with x30 who used skype can comment..although i'd have to say i'm sure the high en bt are probably better than low...but, it's not really usable right now.

how do you set the mic gain &/or volume...does it matter?

i miight just have to buy an expensive one from one of those bigger stores so i can test it out & maybe return

thanks

Anyone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe Skype for the PPC allows the use of a bluetooth headset at all.

people are reporting it works. some posts say you need to download something first (can't recall..need to search forums) but it allows chanelling adio to the bt headset because the problem was hearing the calls...

look around..but i know- there were tonnes of posts saying it doesn't work (maybe old skype)

the thing that gets me is i don't think the sound is too bad when i use the skype test or if i record on my voicemail..but others have a real hard time.

I think a bluetooth headset can improve skype .Most Skype owners would like to use their Bluetooth headset instead of a wired connection.
