PocketWiNc works great with the Dlink DCF-660W beta driver for WM2003.
It solves my one complaint: the beta driver installation removes the DLink utility. PocketWiNc seems to do everything that the DLink utility did.
Thanks for posting this download.

Reasons To Switch To Mozilla Firebird
It appears that this download of PocketWiNc is just the shareware version with the timeout removed. There are still a couple options (saving wep keys, applying provisioning files) that are not available in this version.

Thanks Slothdog I thought it was a full version but I guess you can't complain for free.
As far as WEP keys it did save my WEP key for an AP I already had setup thru the built-in 2003 utility that it "remembered" from before I installed Winc.

For those having trouble with the download, look at the address bar. IE on Win XP was just refreshing the page. when trying for the WM2003 version, I get this:

|
Cut this out and past it into the address bar:
http://blahblahblah/PocketWiNc_2003.zip
This works for the other versions as well.
EDIT:
PLEASE do the honest thing an register with the site to download. I just realized that the copying the download link will allow anyone, including non-registered people to download the software. I have edited the links so I don't piss the mods off.

Hey no problem! Just looking out for my fellow aximites and doing what I can to contribute to this wonderful community. I'm glad to see so many positive responses, even though the software didn't turn out to be the 100% full version. Guess you really can't complain when it's free.

Go to the PC Magazine site and click on the file name you want to download. It will ask you to sign in if your browser hasn't 'remembered' your sign-in/password but then it will give you this same screen again. Click on the file name again and a download window should come up. A few people have had problems with this last step just doing a refresh and never offering to download. There are some posts earlier in the thread discussing how to work around this problem.

I downloaded the program and it installed fine. My CF WiFi card is working fine. But when run, PocketWinC says it can not find the adaptor. Guess I am SOL.
Since I will probably upgrade my CF WiFi card when I receive my PPC2003 disc from Dell (my current card is a no-name brand that I have little hope of finding PPC2003 drivers for), can anyone suggest a CF WiFi card that has released 2003 drivers AND will work with PocketWinC???

I have the dlink 650 wireless router as well. BUT...I am connected from this box via ethernet cable ( everything else is wireless). The error you are getting would be an err I would get trying to use winc from THIS wired box, without a wifi card.
Not sure if this is your issue though.

Socket is a great card with good reviews on this site. I've enjoyed mine! Plus, it had WM 2003 drivers the day or so after WM 2003 was released. Great card, great service, but a stiff price. Buy the best and only cry once.
