I am going to order My Axim with the WiFi CF card, My question is which memory card should I get. I 'd like 512MB card, put don't see them in SD, also looks like SD costs more that CF memory, why? Any ideas, Thanks!!!

SD is not THAT much more. You should be able to find it, keep an eye on the memory treads here. If you want extra memory while using the wifi, you have no other choice than SD.

SecureDigital does cost more than Compact Flash, primarily because it is smaller. because the Axim does not have an SDIO capable slot, CF is your only option for WiFi connectivity.

That MIGHT be incorrect. It seems like people have gotten two different answers from Dell on if a patch will allow the Axim to us SDIO cards. It seems like no one at Dell has even heard of them. :crooked: Anyway for the next few months CF will be the only way to have WiFi access. Besides, do you want an antenna sticking out of the side of the Axim? :rolling:

If you can wait Sandisk will introduced a combined WiFi (802.11b) and flash memory Compact Flash and Secure Digital cards.

Good point on the antenna....

Yeah the SDIO thing is still in flux.....the informaiton I have read says that a patch might not be all that is necessary, because there is a hordware connect that must be made on the SD slot for SDIO to function properly (according to Brighthand.
