Question Running wireless continuously

I have setup my x3i to sync wirelessly with my work network. Therefore, I have unplugged the cradle from USB. My question is: Is there any downside to having the wireless on all day while I am at work? I just wonder if this wears anything out, or any other problems.

I am doing the same thing with my X5. It syncs faster and the power is not drained because it is in the cradle. No problems so far.

Just the battery. Like brobinson said though, you can keep it cradled and you're set.

Nothing should wear out if you keep the WiFi radio on. The only thing you will have to think about is the increased battery drain by keeping the radio turned on.

I sometimes will use my X3i as a "radio" overnight; listening to an internet radio station via WMP. Other than occasionally dropping the wifi signal (rare) it works peachy keen and I've had no problems.
