Symbol WiFI card problems

I just recently bought a Symbol LA-4137 compact flash wireless card that was working great until yesterday. I have been using the Socket Drivers for Windows Mobile 2003 on my Axim X5 advanced. Now everytime I install the card I get a unknown compact flash card warning. I have tried reinstalling the drivers. Soft resetting the device and nothing seems to work. I either get nothing when I install the card or the warning. All my other cf cards work including my Dell Truemobile 1180 compact flash wireless. Does anyone have any suggestions or do I have to wait until March for the Symbol drivesrs?!?

I don't have a Symbol card yet (although I ordered one from eBay earlier this week) but if you do a search on SYMBOL/SOCKET in the forums you'll find good info on making it work. It sounds like the best bet is to use the Socket drivers (link provided in forum).

Did you get it to work with the Socket drivers? I got my Symbol yesterday and it worked the first time but hasn't browsed since the first time I loaded it. Very frustrating.

i have got the same card yesterday

it says wirelessnetwork out of range
i do get the AP MAC and signal it says 31 channel it says 6

i use d-link DI 624 plus router

i did have the similar problem , so i hard reseted my device and synchronised back with my laptop. and then re installed the software. and it got stuck while installing on ppc. so i cliked cancel and another window asked do you wanna exit anyway from set up? i sad no and then it installed.
