Cool help to other wireless sync people

This is my first post to the axim forums, I have probably solved half of my problems through reading the great info provided by the various people on the forum. My post is about wirelessly syncing...or not in my case. I have a wireless router, and my box that I sync with is hard wired to the router. Due to this I can't just simply sync with my box wirelessly. The good news is I did manage to fix the problem, VIA setting up a Virtual Private Network (vpn). It didn't dawn on me till this morning that I wasn't just connecting to my box wirelessly, I had to go through the internet, or in this case the only connection that was being broadcasted to my axim. I found a great link on the forums that helped me fix the problem, so I thought I would share this link with more people!

If there are any other questions that I might be able to shed light on, I'll try help out

For those of you who wondering, well....if he is hard wired to the router, then why does he have a wireless network. Its not really for me, its for my dad, because his compter is all the way at the other end of the house. Pluse it gave me an excuse to update the tech in the house a bit.

That goes for trucks too. My '93 Nissan Pickup (220K miles and still going strong) has a fried starter solenoid, so I wired in a rocker/toggle switch......Turn the key on, flip the switch and away she goes!

I keep a post-it note in the glove box with instructions when I have to take her somewhere for service.

As crappy as she looks (I think if I washed her, the fenders might fall off or simply vanish!), I still get at least 2 queries a month from "Mexico Convoy Drivers" about selling her...........uh-uh, no way.........I'll drive her till she croaks. There's something about these Nissans, and whatever mojo they put in 'em.........when I do have to part her out, I'll be looking for another.
