The Socket card has the best reputation but one of the highest price tags, too. The Symbol card mentioned above is a clone of the original Socket low-power card (Socket just came out with a new version) and has a pretty good CS as well. The ebay prices on it are very good but it retails for even more than the Socket at 'real' stores.

Are their any combo cards that do wifi and something else?
|
AFAIK, the Sandisk is the only combo card currently on the market.

I've seen a Sandisk wifi with 128 megs of memory...is that a good buy?

Just to reinforce zatrikon's comment - when it was first released, the Sandisk card did not work with the X5 - the WiFi worked somewhat for most people that tried it but they were never able to access the memory. Even though Dell sold it on their site, they had a "Not for the Axim" warning on the product description. I've never heard any reports that the problems were fixed so I don't think it's worth the potential headaches.
I've tried the Symbol card, SMC, Ambicom, and D-link CF cards on my X5 (running PPC02). They all work reasonably well. I've seen a lot of complaints here that many users have had the D-link cards fail after a couple of months. SMC still doesn't have WM03 drivers but their old drivers do work with the new OS as do the Intersil reference drivers.
