or u could just have a serial connection instead of a CF or SD card. There would be a car plug that would have two wires coming out of it, and one would go to the serial connection, while the other would go to the reciever, just like many pocket pc GPS systems work. The company would also provide the software necessary for the XM that would be transmitted out of the external speaker or the headphone jack. I don't see how the XM recievers would be that much more expensive than a GPS reciever. If u ask me, its nothing more complicated than the pocket pc navigation systems out today.
