Hello everyone,
I was at a Verizon store the other day and I saw the neatest thing. It was a pocket pc (it was shaped like one) and it said pocket pc on it. I forget what brand it was. Well, anyway, it had an antenna coming out of it, and I noticed one of the buttons on the front of it had a little phone icon, and I was thinking, well, this must be a pocket pc with a built in phone! Oddly enough, I was just playing around with it (it looked like it had Pocket PC 2002 OS) and I put in one of our cell phone numbers, and it dialed!! I didn't think they would have had it hooked up, that's why I tried it. I was wondering if there is a card or something that can be inserted into the cf card slot for the axim to be used as a cell phone. We have Nextel and Verizon cell phones, but I would like the cell phone to be part of the Axim.

Anyone know of this?

There is a GSM/GPRS Compact Flash Card, but you will always have to use a headset to talk/receive calls.

There is also a Sprint CDMA CF card that you can use, they are a little expensive at about $229.

I am also trying to make my Dell Axim a cell phone.
