Internet connection sharing via Bluetooth

I have set up Bluetooth on my computer in order to transfer files and sync my axim wirelessly, and this works fine.
However, my network setup on this computer is somewhat complicated, and I can't figure out how to activate internet connection sharing for my Axim to use.

Here's how my network is setup:
- Network Card 1 : connected to the home network (100baseT). This network is connected to the internet via an ADSL Router
- Network Card 2 : this one is connected to a laptop on my desk, through a hub, to allow the laptop to access the other network (yes, there is a reason for not putting both computers simply on the same hub, i'll explain if you need me to :))
those two connections are bridged, using IP address 192.168.1.***

I read the Geekzone bluetooth guide, but I can't set Internet connection sharing for the Network bridge (it's simply not there...) nor for the other connections.
If i go in the bluetooth connection settings, it sets my IP address to 192.168.0.1, which prevents me from accessing my network and router :hide:

I'm running Windows XP pro
what could i have overlooked? must I get rid of the network bridge? thanks for your help :)

I've never tried running network bridging and ICS together... Not sure how that would work. Maybe it's not supported?

Out of interest, why is the laptop bridged through the PC?

Yep, somewhat complicated setup but not too difficult.

When setting up ICS on the computer the IP address that it will assign by default is 192.168.0.1. This is a little confusing when you setup ICS at first; in fact the logic is somewhat backwards. If you turn on ICS on your Bluetooth card then the IP address 192.168.0.1 will be setup on your main NIC which will kill access to your network. Instead you want to use the NIC that has access to the internet and activate ICS on that. In most cases that will be Local Area Connection or Local Network. Goto properties and make sure that it is indeed the correct NIC. Then activate ICS on that card. The 192.168.0.1 address will then be assigned to the Bluetooth card. You can then bind to the computer via bluetooth and thus be able to surf.

hey, if you're connecting through router or gateway, do this
simply highlight your network adaptor and bt, then bridge connection
that's it
just make sure bt networking is working
