I can`t get my pretec WLAN card to work. If i insert the cart I get "Unrecognized card is slot 1". When I try to install the drivers from pretec, they don`t seem to install.. Some one please help.

A new driver for pocket mobile 2003 was posted on pretec download page, tried it myself but was not able to even get the card recognized as wifi adapter:( Let me know if it works for you.

Anybody any luck getting the Pretec WLAN to run without a hard boot? I installed latest software for 2003 and latest driver. Error message: Please insert Pretec CompactWLAN 802.11b Adapter first! Sometimes the config will come up but keeps scanning with a mac address of a whole bunch of numbers 4. Not my lucky number....

not sure if this helps, you can also use the pretec card with intersil reference driver. The pretec driver seems to work better with pocket winc, but the reference dirver gives enable you to disable the card via software (if it makes sence at all). In another word, with the intersil diver you don't have to physically remove the card to disable it.
