'Page Not Found' error

Okay, I give up....I need help. I have an X5 with a TrueMobile 1180 CF wireless card. I could previously surf the net without error, but now I cannot. I have done the following:

-enabled and disabled MAC filtering
-enabled and disabled WEP
-changed static IP addresses
-uninstalled and re-installed the Dell drivers (re-downloaded, in case of new drivers)
-soft reset
-hard reset
-tried entering DNS addresses (from router)
-even tried the Welcome trick for X3's
-upgraded router firmware and software

I can ping my desktop and the router (MS MN-700) through the Dell utility, can synch with ActiveSync wirelessly, can perform a backup wirelessly, but can't get through the router out onto the internet.

My laptop connects through VPN to work without error, and can surf the net without error, both wirelessly.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance, all you networking gurus!!

Bob

Yes, I've been through those settings a couple of times, too.

Thanks,

Mark,

If you mean the Welcome trick, I've tried it (mentioned in my original post). There is another link inside your link, but it doesn't work.

Thanks,

Bob

Well, don't know why, but changing my static ip to a dynamic one has me surfing the web again. That wast the only thing I changed today, and now I'm up and working again.?? Thanks everyone who had ideas for me to try.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Bob

Where did you change the IP address? On your computer or is there a "dynamic" and "static" option somewhere? I am running an adhoc connection. Please help.
