Please forgive my ignorance as I have been trying to understand all this wifi/bluetooth stuff on previous postings but still have some queries.
I have an axim 400 on order and want to be able to surf the net by connecting it to my pc. I have broadband by the way and the pc runs on xp. Looking at the control panel it says I also have a realtek ethernet card. I have a b/tooth enabled phone as well, but I will primarily be wanting to use the axim off the pc.
My question is, do I only need to by a wifi card for the axim or do I need something else for the pc. If I have an ethernet card does this have the transmitter (or whatever they are called) built in? Also am I better off with bluetooth - my understanding is that wifi has far better range.
