Question Win XP Home, Axim Wi-Fi and Remote Control

I read Scott Taylors EXCELLENT article on setting up your Axim for wireless synching and I was successful at doing that. BUT in that same article he mentions that he was able to remotely control his XP machine wirelessly from his Axim. After trying unsuccessfully to do this at home I delved into my XP reference manual and found that remote control only works on XP professional machines. Is there any way at all to view and manipulate files and folders using my Axim and XP home edition?

Sure, quite a few ways actually...

1: If you want to remote control your PC get winvnc.
Server: http://www.realvnc.com
Viewer: http://www.freewareppc.com/docs/vncviewerarm.shtml

2: If you only want access to files on your pc then
A: Use File Explorer, on the bottom of the program
there are 3 buttons, 'location' buttons.. first one is your
handhelds memory.. the 2nd button is external memory
the 3rd is server memory.. it looks like a hand holding
a disk..

B: If you dont like file explorer (which I dont think you can launch files from exploring your pc) then use this: http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities...ommander.shtml
which is FREE, and my personal favorite file explorer...

Hope this helps..
