Just as a side note: There are still benefits to using a software firewall on your PC in addition to the firewall provided by your router, in particular to prevent viruses/worms from spreading without your consent or certain programs for calling home behind your back. The router firewall would prevent external parties from getting into your computer, but every program on your computer would still have unrestricted access to the Internet ...
Anti virus and firewall are two different things. Anti virus protects your computer from things like email viruses or viruses that you download accidentally. Firewall protects you from people trying to access your computers from the internet. You want anti virus installed on all of your computers, but since you have a firewall in your router, you shouldn't need to worry about a software firewall on any of the computers.
Okay guys, I think I have it! But of course it doesn't end here. I have a Norton AntiVirus 2004 (OEM) The disk says to be used only on this computer. So, does that mean that I've gotta go out and spend more money for another Norton AntiVirus just for my other computer, or could I use this disc....(Windows ME)? Humm..What to do?!?!
Usually you can use the same cd, but you may need to buy another license for it. You co uld try entering the same code for both computers, if it doesnt work u will need to buy a new license. Also if it doesn't ask for one you might not need a new license. Just try installing it off that cd and see what happens.

I just set up my wifi activesync and I ran into the same problem. I also use NAV and Norton Internet Security. All I did to fix it was to go to Personal Firewall, Configure, Home Networking. From there I just added the IP of my X30 wifi connection (192.168.1.101) to the Trusted column. That allows my X30 full access to my PC thus allowing wifi activesync without a hitch.
