I am having NO LUCK with this at all ( see this thread ). I'm new to wireless networking, and I'm going crazy trying to config my machines! I can't get PocketLancer to work overer wireless (and it's buggy while in the cradle).

How the hell do I set-up terminal services client? Why can't I find any info on this? the damn thing just sits on my PPC with blank fields like I'm supposed to know exactly how to set it up?

What I want to do:
I would like to access files on my desktop and laptop (I'm able to share files between those two) from my Axim. How do I set-up share files? Also, ideally, I wouldn't mind having access to those files from a remote location (but privacy is an issue).

When I go to file explorer and click on the "share" icon, it asks for a "open path" entry with two backslashes in the field...what is that???

But, it sounds like you need some help with Windows Networking. Might I suggest:

(Hint, on the last question you asked, PPC is asking you for the name of another machine on your network and a shared resource on that machine. If you were able to share directories between the laptop and desktop you'll already have the information you need.)

(A second hint - it's two for one day - start small. Get your head around file sharing and then owrry about terminal services/remote access.)

I've gotten the file share to work. I guess it's necessary to rename the Axim. It works now.

So, now to figure out the FTP!

Rock on getting the windows networking fucntioning.

If you can share files between the three devices, why use FTP? External access?
