Newbie question here.. Apologies if this has been asked before, I did a search to see if it had been covered but didnt find much.

I've just put in my new 256mb SD card and writing to it, it is incredibly slow. It takes about 1 hour to write the whole card through Activesync (with the USB cradle).

I've been thinking about getting a Wifi CF card (I have a Wireless Lan running at home), but I was wondering whether I could use the lan to write to my Axim from my desktop, and speed up the data transfer to the SD card. Would it be quicker than transferring via a usb card reader? (or at least quicker than activesync??)

Any help/experiences/suggestions would be much appreciated.
