Last night it took 3 hours to get my D-Link DCF-660W working (should have taken 5 minutes). The problem... after three hours of no internet connection (I had an IP and good link to my D-Link DI-713p router) was power save. I was trying every thing and final turned off power save and BANG it worked. Any one else have this problem with this card? I've had the D-Link DI-713p for 6 months working fine, I downloaded the latest firmware drivers for it 6 months ago. Will new drivers for the router solve this problem? I tried both the new and old drivers for the DCF-660W card and neither will work with power save turned on. Anyone had this problem? Does this D-Link DI-713P not support power save?

I have the DI-713P router although I am using the Linksys WCF12 for my Axim. I have PowerSave enabled on my WCF12 and everything works fine, although I have noticed that the wireless portion of the router will intermittently hang up and require a reboot. This had happened monthly before I started using my Axim and seems to have increased to weekly now that the Axim is on the network. I am using the 2.57 version of the D-Link drivers since I am always leery of loading new drivers into a system that is working at least "good enough."

One other note...I assume you tried this but did you soft reset the Axim during the testing process. When I first did my setup I had some initial issues but the soft reset made everything work fine (other than the lingering issue noted above)

Yes, I've done many soft resets. Any other ideas?

Download the latest drivers for the di-713p, that fixed the power save mode.

Thanks guys...you inspired me to download and install the latest firmware for my Netgear MR314 wireless router and now the power save mode on my DCF-660W seems to be operational ....so far so good.

The filmware on my MR314, which I bought in late Dec, was REALLY old
