I was just wondering if there was a way to restore a backup.stg file back onto the Axim using wifi after a hard reset. Will I need to resintall my wifi drivers back onto the Axim first before I can sync with the PC again? Or could I just transfer the backup.stg file to a CF memory card and restore the backup from there?

You should be able to copy the file to the card and restore from there. But that got me to thinking about restoring wirelessly.

Just thinking my way through that, you would have to reestablish the partnership with the cable/cradle. Then you would have to reinstall the wifi drivers and reestablish the network connection. After than, you should be able to restore the backup. Of course, the backup will overwrite the wifi new installation, so you want o make sure the new installation and the restored installation match, or you will have to set it up again after the restore.
