WiNC and Dell truemobile help

OK i have the intersil drivers and the WiNC software.

I have followed the instructions listed in other posts.

What i have found out is when I do the install according to the other posts, it looks like the WLAN card is not changing green / showing activity.

The WiNC software does notice that the car is in or out though. I then install the dell drivers but now it does show that it has activity, but once it get an IP address or APIPA 169... it gives an error and closes the app.

I really like this application and would love to use it, please help.

I'm of the thought that the Dell card is a hermes chipset - the intersil drivers are for Prism cards. Does your card work outside of winc with the intersil drivers?

i emailed the winc guys and they say the next version will support the dell card. i guess at that time the app will also be $$$

Sweet, if the next one is Dell capable then Ill pay just about anything for that.

Any idea on a due date?
