ok here's my problem (i can't believe i have not gotten this to work after having a pocket pc for so long)...

i figured our my serial port is COM4, set active sync to that, when i go to my dell to set up the bluetooth connection, i see my laptop icon there to select. i go to select it, and after searching for a couple of seconds, it says

"service discovery was unsuccessful"

what is this? i have bluetooth turned on on both units. and i can successfully transfer files back and forth between the two through the bluetooth exchange folder.

any ideas?
