T637 and X30 mid

Alright...so...here's the dealio. I'm up here in vancouver with a brand new Sony Ericsson T637 on Rogers Wireless and a relatively new Dell Axim X30.

I can get it to dial numbers, transfer contacts and appointments and even browse and transfer files to and from both devices wonderfully...

I cannot however connect to the internet through the cell phone.

Anyone else on Rogers that knows the secrets? (Access numbers, profiles, settings, anything?)

Yeah, I was originally searching for a type of phone I wanted to get and came across a few members that were on Rogers and I did a second search when I wanted to find out how to connect, once again a few members, but they weren't talking original setup but more debating features of wireless networks...I guess a 3rd search never hurt anyone...

Just got my axim x30 to work with my T637 today.
Here's what I did:
Set up new profile in settings:
- Add a new modem connection
- any name for connection, pick BT dialup modem (for Bluetooth), tap next. (Or pick Generic IrDA for Infrared)
- Input number to dial: *99***2# ; tap next. ('2' is for the CID profile on your phone -> "Rogers Internet")
- User Name: wapuser1
- Password: wap
- Domain: internet.com
- Tap Advanced...
- Select Baud rate: 19200. Uncheck 'Wait for dial tone...'.
- Tap Ok, then tap Finish
These are the settings that worked for me, only tested with Bluetooth. It should be the same way with infrared. I used my old Nokia 8390 paired up with my old HP Jornada 568 with infrared the same way and it worked.
