I think the socket drivers would be best but I know people use the socket and symbol (spectrum 24) drivers interchangably.

ummm ... the driver's still there.

Version 3.9.4.7 is the latest driver for the "old" version. Much better than the original driver and works great with WM2003.

Actually they just posted it again, these drivers have been unavailable for over a month, the drivers still do not properly work with WEP, so despite a number of graphical enhancements, I'm still on the outside looking in ;(

Are you using WEP? 64 or 128 bit encryption?

I too have the "Orange" socket card and the latest drivers associated with it (3.9.4.7).

I run with zero problems on an X5 with 128bit WEP.

You might want to start without any encryption to debug your issue, which sounds like it might be more setup related than driver related.

UPDATE: I just noticed that the lastest driver posted on the Socket website for the "Orange" socket card has recently been updated on 02/01/05 to version "B" (3.9.4.7B).

The "B" version has even new functions including Show Networks, Ping and Trace Route and appears to work fine on my X5 with 128Bit WEP.
