Over 2 years ago when I first got my Axim X5 with PPC2003 I purchased the Symbol Spectrum24 WiFi CF card and was unable to get it to work. Somehow, I followed Ikehiker's and other's advice at the time and presto it worked. Well 2 years later and after not having used my X5 in a long time, I am back to square 1 a lot less Pocket PC savvy and frustrated that I cannot get this thing to work. I'm getting the typical unrecognized card in socket 1 message, I've uninstalled/re-installed every manner of socket and symbol driver/utility and nothing seems to work. Please help!

I'm having the same problem with my x51 w/spectrum24 card. I cannot get passed the Reboot PPC prompt. ??? Everytime I get an Unsucessful install message...

Well, talked to a Symbol tech today. Turns out they don't have a driver for the WM5 operating system - BUMMER - and they don't have any plans to create one - BIGGER BUMMER - unless they have, and I quote, "an obscene amount of requests for one" Oh well, time to look for something else on my end...
