Actually, that's not 100% accurate. Native Pocket Inbox DOES allow receiving/sending from different POP/SMTP servers. The implementation arguably is not very elegant.
Simply author a new or reply in a specific account. When you want to send, simply select the SMTP service you want to use with the "accounts" menu bar. The message will be placed in the selected account's outbox.
Switching to that account, hit the send icon and presto, the messsge is sent using the selected account.
Oh yeah, NPOPW (freeware) also supports the more conventional separate POP/SMTP authentication capability.

If you are attempting to do that you will have to get a third party Pocket mail program. I chose WebIS Mail. It seems to work very well in place of Pocket Outlook.
