Question Alternate WiFi software?

I am fairly new to the PDA world and was wondering if there is some other software for connecting to WiFi other than what comes with my X30? It has the WM2003 and Odessy Client, but can you get others that are different/better/more features, etc.? I have to say I always revert to the Odessy Client as it seems to be MUCH better at it's job.

Thanks!

You can try WiFiFoFum Pro. If I recall, you should be able to connect to other networks, not just scan... I'm quite remember as I don't use it myself.

BTW, if it ain't broke, don't fix it....

I use ministumbler from www.stumbler.net
Works great, really quick, and lets you connect to networks even if the signal is weak

Odyssey Client Sucks on my Device...

I had nothing but trouble with Odyssey Client on my Aximx51v... Then I started receiving the error message that others have discussed here and found the fix for it but it still didn't quite do very well.

So I installed the Socket WiFi Companion and immediately was able to get a connection to my wireless network. I would like to remove the Odyssey Client if possible.

I'm fairly sure that you won't be able to remove the Odyssey Client. Sadly you are stuck with it.

Welcome to Aximsite

Actually there is a way to remove Odyssey Client, at least until you do a hard-reset. See here.

BUT, I'm with you. I never can stay with anything else but Odyssey Client. I swear by it.
