I have tried to read all the threads on this, but don't think I have found what I am looking for. I want to connect to the internet with my Axim. Don't want want to use a phone (the phone I have cannot access the internet), and I don't want to go to Starbucks (I don't drink coffee, though I guess this would be a good reason to start :D ). I have my hone internet through AT & T. Before I got my Axim, I had a Handspring Visor with a Visorphone and was able to access my AT & T account through the phone. So, should I be able to access my AT & T account with a wireless modem?

Any suggestion would be helpful.

theres 2 major ways to access the net wirelessly:

Wifi: this is a wireless LAN, the type they have in the airport/office/campus/starbucks/home. The range is only about 200ft so you have to look for 'hotspots'. Some hotspots charge you for usage, others are free. You will need a CF wifi card

GPRS: this is a service provided by your cellphone company, it gives you access anywhere you have a cellphone signal. They charge monthly fees for usage. I believe there are GPRS cards you can purchase, not sure.
