GPRS/GSM Card, must have Axim on to recieve calls?

Hi,

I have read alot of the threads about CF GSM/GPRS cards and still have some question(s). I emailed Convergentech about their card and he said you do have to have your Axim on to recieve incoming phone calls, But somewhere in the forum, someone said that you didn't have to leave your Axim on to receive incoming phone calls and that it would be "woken up" when someone tried to call. If anyone knows anything about it, your input would be extremely appreciated.

Thanks

Ok, after looking through many pages of search results I came up with this:

7. When my PDA is in sleep mode, will an incoming call on the CF2031 card wake my Pocket PC?
: The CF2031 card sends a standard signal through its status pin. Most PDAs on the market do not detect this particular signal. However, we do know of one PDA that does detect this signal, the Casio e200. Therefore, most PDAs can not support the "wake-up" feature for the CF2031. The Casio e200 is the exception.
..........................

that was refering to a sprint cdma cf adaptor, Does anyone know if the same thing is possible using the AximX50v and any available gprs/gsm cf adaptor?

Thanks
