Odyssey or Dell Wlan Util

I 've seen a lot of the posts discussing these two utilities but I'm still confused about one thing. When I press the wireless button on my X30 to start up my wireless connection how does it know which one to use? How can I switch back and forth?

Thanks,

William

Well, when you turn on the wifi it uses the built in dell wlan utility. If you go to start, settings, connections, odyssey This will turn on odyssey client. Odyssey usually seems to connect faster for me, + it has much more security options.

Thanks for the quick reply. Let me make sure I understand correctly. Everytime I press the wireless button on my X30, I would still need to manually startup the Odyssey client? It sounds like the Odyssey client overrides the Wlan utility?

Thanks again.

The Dell built-in utility has the WPA option and works very well...

As long as you don't close odessey client you don't have to run it each time
