Retina WiFi Scanner - Pocket PC Version
The Retina WiFi Scanner for the Pocket PC brings all of the detection functionality of the standard Retina WiFi Scanner to the Pocket PC enabling mobile scanning throughout your entire premises.
not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but eeye digital security has released a free wifi scanning tool for the ppc. It is for "business customers" only. I think it is great (after you turn off the sound).
Watch out for problems with this with the x50v (perhaps others).
1: Without Wifi turned on before you launch the program will result in a constant loop of a popup box.
2: You cannot turn off wifi even after a soft reset. Uninstall will fix this.
Otherwise this looks nice and when working correctly, could be a Wifofofum beater!
those sales people are on the ball, I got an e-mail and phone call thanking me and confirming passing along the not working on AXIM message.:approve:
Let's hope their tech support are on the ball too. :)
I was able to turn WiFi off after doing a soft reset. This tool looks awesome if only the little gitches were fixed. If anyone gets any results from customer service post back here.
This is the email I received back from the compnay.

Thanks for your input on our product. If you would, go to http://www.eeye.com/html/support/request/index.html and enter a trouble ticket for this. One of our Security Engineers will get back to you with some info/assistance for this. That would be a great help!
I opened a trouble ticked using the above link, and was given ticket# TK016915
Well against my better judgement I tried out the Pocket PC version. I should have known better. Any time some one with only a couple of posts comes on to the site and posts their latest and greatest find I usually think its spam by some one pushing their product. And since this thing locked up my X5 faster than a cat can lick its fanny and I got a follow up e-mail litterly seconds after I downloaded the tool I am pretty convinced I am right about the poster.....maybe I am jsut getting cranky in my old age. ( by the way the follow up e-mail was for the security audit and not the Pocket PC tool.)

It's a good free tool, it just has a few bug. Im getting good response from thier developers now, even though it's a free product. They seem to be very interested in making it better.
Maybe so but I downloaded the WIFIFFOFUM from the link posted by Blade and it installed and came up with no problems at all so I will give it a try. But I still stand by my statement about Spamers (even ones with good intentions) poping into the site to post and push a product. High Post counts don't neccessarliy mean someone has more expertise than someone with less but it does go a long way in establishing credability.
