WIFI problem. Card connects but can't find computer on network

I hate to post a new thread but I've tried Ike's guide and searched through this forum but can't figure this out. I've had this thing working with a Lynksys card but now I'm using a Symbol and having problems. My card is connected to my network but when I use Resco Explorer to map a drive it can't find the computer. I know this is something simple. Thanks

How do you know it's connecting? Is it getting an IP Address? what address is being assigned?

Can the computer ping it?

Do you have a s/w firewall?

Yes it has an IP. 192.168.55.101/255.255.255.0

It just found my computer in Resco but it wouldn't let me connect to it. I just tried it again and now it can't find it. I have firewall turned off and auto detect mode on.

Can the PC ping that address?
Is power saving turned off on the Symbol card?

That's the CPU Power Saving. You need to check the Wifi power saving in the utility.

I was talking about the WIFI power saving. It has a slider bar.
