Why won't my Axim with Truemobile connect to 802.11b network?

I'm trying to set up an adhoc network between my desktop pc and my axim.

I've got a belkin usb 802.11b network adaptor and the dell truemobile card in my axim.

The network seems to be set up on the PC because it say it's connected but the axim won't connect. It just says. Ready.

Any ideas?

Good thing you made it here. Cagey and I spent the past two days alone working on this issue.

Dell forums were useless, Dell didn't even chime in once. I personally think this board is better so if you can help him or I out.

Thank you in advance

Based on that Tutorial, try setting the SSID on Axim to "ANY"

Now granted it appears to be more of an infrastructure totorial.

Work

I don't think they're setup. The connect button is geryed out.

What do I do to set them up?

Make sure you have your wireless profile set to ad-hoc if you have it set to Access Point or Residential Gateway it won't connect to another device via ad-hoc
