Truemobile 350 and Mot 330 started right up with only the *99#. Did not need any dial-string. Really easy! The new Toshiba software is really well written.

Verizon is not GPRS. However, there are many threads that discuss Verizon so try a search. (Sorry no links for you as I'm on mobile.)

These exact settings work perfectly for my x50v and Ericsson R520m with Rogers.

Thanks guys.

Cingular V551 doesn't seem to work on X51v

I am guessing this is messed up in WM5.0 If anybody has it running on X51v, please email me at dougaxim@mashek.com

Thanks,

I can dial to connect Internet but IE opens web pages very slowly in X51. It works well in X50. What I use is CF GPRS card not mobile phone. Do you have the similar experience with GPRS phone in X51? Could you give me advice to solve it?

V551 and X51v working

I finally got it working, there was a setting that needed to be set called "Use these connections to connect to internet". Once that was set, I could set "This network connects to the Internet" within the Proxy settings tab.
Once this was set, I connected to the internet.
It is very slow for me also through Pocket Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, I don't have any browser to use. Browsing on my Palm TX is a lot quicker, and even connecting didn't take so long.
Any idea what the slowdown is on the X51v?

Thanks,
Doug

Question Cingular USA

Hi, Axim users
I'm new to the site and I think this is a good site for every one that uses a Axim. I have a Axim 5 and a Razor V3.
I've been wanting use my cell as a modem for my Axim.
I don't see any info on here for a Motorola V3. Can I get some help? ABC help. new to the game.
I found out how to set it up I think. I just need the setting.
Thanks

Hi

I am trying the above settings with a siemens S65 to connect to Orange UK. Bluetooth connection establishes OK, but fails to connect to orange. Are the above settings still in use or have they been updated?
