3) ENTER IN FOLLOWING DATA:
Enter Name for the connection: (Pick anything you want)

Help please. Can't get it working.

At&t / Cingular USA
SE S700i

I've tried the above settings and also tried *99# as the Dialing Number and Username as ISP@CINGULARPGS.COM but it doesn't work either.

What is this "extra dialing string modem command and do I need them? If so, where do I go to input them?

Note: I do not have a data plan yet so is that why it won't work?

With the S-E *700* phones, in general, you must pass a single Z (a simple reset command) to the phone from the init string.

Aximsitebluetoothicon o2 UK contract, nokia 6230i, Axim x51 gprs settings

Settings for gprs internet with nokia 6230i and o2 UK contract.
I've received gprs settings from o2 to my mobile by text message and set Axim:
Phone number: *99#
Username: o2wap
Password: password

Before pressing Finish
You need to press on the 'Advanced' button to change some settings:
Untick "Wait for dial tone"
Add the following string to the extra dial-string commands:
+CGDCONT =1,"IP","MOBILE.O2.CO.UK"

I do not have the internet option yet. I *do* have the T-zones option.

When connecting using settings as described above, I can check email, but not browse. Likely because browsing is blocked until you fork over the extra $30/month, but they could care less about your email.

I don't need to put in a username, password, or domain.

I don't need to put in any extra dial-string modem commands. If I do put any in, it makes no difference for me. Nothing additional starts working and nothing stops working.

After connecting to the phone and dialing #99*, I'm able to check my mail from anywhere.
Which e-mail are you talking about. I have RAZR V3 and Axim X51v and I did the same but couldn't browse. But I will be happy with my e-mail for free. I don't have the T-Zones option though.

Anyone ever get a Axim X50v working with a Motorola V3 using O2 payandgo
I had the 02 payandgo working in my Audiovox RTM8000 as a GPRS modem, but I can't figure out what extra dial strings to use for the bluetooth dialup modem..
The PDA connects and *99# switches it into GPRS active but I can't get any pages back...
I have tried +CGDCONT =1,"IP","PAYANDGO.O2.CO.UK" but this does not seem to work

Please help
