Has anyone gotten the bluetooth connection to work between an x51v and Cingular's Siemens S56. I recently purchased the x51v to replace an HP 4700, which I used for years with the S56. I can get the two devices to see each other, and the x51v shows up on my phone's list of "known devices", but the x51v can't seem to see the phone services. It sees the phone, but under "select services to use from this device" nothing is listed. And it keeps asking for me to re-establish the partnership I thought I established. I know this can work, because it worked fine on the HP. The HP came with something called "connection manager" that doesn't seem to be part of WM 5. Any ideas?
I've noticed through the forum some of the string commands lower case and some are upper case, does it make any difference? locality thingy or does'nt it matter.

I use t-moible and have not suscribed for data plan but have enabled autoverify for new emails. It is working good, message says it is connecting to GPRS not sure how, can any one throw some light.. Thanks
To set up a connection via bluetooth phone and O2 Ireland as the Service Provider:
1. Go to Settings/Connections/Add new Connection
2. Enter o2 gprs as Connection Name
3. Select Bluetooth as Modem and hit next
4. Select your bluetooth Device, mine is Sony K800i and hit next
5. Enter *99***1# as the number to be dialled, 'Use Dialling rules' this should NOT be selected, hit next
7. Enter gprs as the username, I think the password comes up automatically, if not, add your own and failing this contact O2 support, 1850 60 1740 and don't let them fob you off when you say you have a Dell, these settings will be the same for whatever PDA you have. Leave the Domain blank.
8. Hit 'Advanced', in the general section the baud rate should be 19200, 'wait for dial tone before dialling' should be ticked, credit card should be 0, Extra dial string modem command is +cgdcont=1,"IP","open.internet". Go to 'servers' tab: DNS should be 62.40.32.33 and Alt DNS should be 62.40.32.34.
9. Click ok and finish.
That should be it, make sure bluetooth is on on both devices and try the internet
Hope this helps somebody, took me weeks of going to O2 and online etc.

I've had my Axim x51 for a couple of years now and managed to use my old Nokia 6230i as a modem, via Bluetooth and IR without any problem at all.
I've just got my new Nokia N73 and have followed all the instructions regarding how to connect via Bluetooth (there's actually not a lot you can do wrong, as it's pretty simple in that respect).
I have managed to pair the new N73 with the X51 without any problem - both devices recognise each other and have paired OK. I have changed my ISP partnership to link via the N73 and not the 6230i, and the phone is set up so that the x51 is an 'authorised' device.
However, when going to the Connection manager (on the x51) and trying to dial-in to my ISP via Bluetooth (or IR for that matter) it just won't do it and both the phone and the x51 come back with a message saying "Connection Error".
I contacted Nokia Customer Service and they could only offer help if I was connecting to a desktop, not a Pocket PC. Help!
