You Sprint PCS people... I feel your pain, but your answer lies here:

it worked within seconds! (not as intricate with the later systems

Does anyone know if the settings changed when Cingular switched to AT&T in the US?

I tried numerous times to get the connection to work, using the cingular settings that everyone has posted, but it always disconnects.

I'm trying to connect a Motorola V3xx to an Axim X50v, with no luck whatsoever. I set the dial string and everything else exactly as others have posted for connecting to Cingular, but I have a feeling things have changed since AT&T took over. Any ideas?

OK,

Dell Axim X51v, Nokia 6300, Orange UK

Phone needs to have it's access point set to 'orangeinternet' (all one lowercase word).

On pda:

Number: *99#
User: user
Pass: pass
No other connection strings or anything are required. Just tell it to use your bluetooth connection to the 6300 as a modem!
