Hope that helps

Yes, it does! Okay, here is my thinking on making printing work:
Available HW:
Axim X50v (has built-in BT & wireless)
IOGear Wireless USB print server (GPSR01U)
Would DL the HP Mobility Printing software
Would Need:
Parallel to USB adapter
Before leaving for "the old house", I would have to install the print server drivers on my PC and configue the wireless unit with the appropriate IP that I would use. For ease of switching between there and here if I wished to, I would have my server reserve a specific IP for it and assign it that. I could also attach it to another old parallel printer here and test it all out.
I should then be able to attach the parallel to USB converter to the wireless print server and print from the Axim, provided there are no 3rd party interference issues as you noted. If I do experience interference issues, I could concievably maintain a clean Sprite backup with just the basic needed software to be used for restoration prior to printing (and after performing a current backup).
I might want to even keep the adapter and server in my travel kit for those instances where I run into this connection problem rather than leaving it at "the old house."
So, before I get the parallel to USB adapter, does this sound like it would work?
Thanks,
