The X50V does not have the connection wires in the motherboard to support USB Host connections (the processer and BUS can, but Dell didnt include it)

The only way to use that device would to buy a $150CF to USB adapter, then plug it in and HOPE the drivers work on windows mobile.

It will be cheaper and easier to look for a 802.11g CF or SD card (I think Linksys makes a CF one, but thats about it).

My appologies, this USB wifi adapter will be for my workstation at work, or where I need to Wifi at the moment, and I'll use the x50v to connect to it.

So basicly what you are trying to do is connect your Axim to the usb adapter which is pluged into your workstation?

Does your work have an existing WiFi network? If so then you will not need this adapter and can just connect straight to the network. Otherwise before you buy this I would suggest you check with the tech guys and your workplace and make sure that you can use it and see if they have any suggestions.

Yes, you are correct. No, we currently do not have WiFi here. And yes, I have permission. This looked pretty nice, simple and portable, so I wanted to know if any other Axim users have used it so I don't waste my time with it.
