Does anyone know of a way to boost the reception of a wireless singnal/network? Is there software that can be downloaded to increase the signal reception? My home is about 10 feet out of range of a wireless network - I don't want to walk outside each time I want to check my email on my PPC!!
Hope someone can help me.

Not to be a smarta$$, but the best way is to get your own wireless network within your home. Routers are pretty cheap and if DSL is available where you are, you can combine your phone and internet services on one connection.

Does it sound like I am freeloading?
The wireless network that I am trying to pick up is one that I actually subscribe to, the signal is just too weak to reach my PPC, so I am unable to check my email. It is very frustrating, as it is only a few feet short. Hope this makes sense.
Not really. But anyway, if you go in the settings for wi-fi and turn off the power save mode some people have reported a better signal strength. Otherwise, I have never seen any software that would help.

danevers-if you subscribe to the the service, you should be able to get conductivity within your home via your computer or your wireless phone. In either case, a cheap wireless router or using bluetooth (if you ppc has it-if not you can get a card) will get your ppc access within your home. That's the best way to get a good signal without causing yourself more problems. I'm not a guru on my ppc but I work for the phone company and do know how to set up a wireless network (that does NOT mean I am great at this PPC WiFi stuff!). If you need help getting a wireless router set up, let me know-I'd be happy to help.
