Done this test a few times in the past few months with Verizon -- usually get about 75-85 kb/s on the 1x network.

pentium 4
516 kbit/sec
0.574s latency
9.826s d/l time.
519 kbit/sec
0.538s latency
9.783s d/l time.

748 kbit/sec
0.559s latency
6.976s d/l time.
740 kbit/sec
0.565s latency
7.048s d/l time.
at my p4, i noticed dumeter registered 71KB/s max while running test

503k here through my verizon dsl and wifi
edit: retest had a 1133 then a 920.

This is what I got...
1112 kbit/sec
0.099s latency
4.415s d/l time.
I am three feet away from the AP and have a 5Mbs connection to the Internet...
