Wi-Fi dropping connection

, I have a wireless G router. I set the router to use B only and channel 6. With that setting,It was working fine until today. The wi-fi connection keeps dropping. Then I changed the channel to 1 and it seems to be working fine again.
So I need to keep changing channels when connection drops? Among channels 1,6,11, is there a best one?

The best one is the one that has the least interference. So that will depend on your specific environment.
