(I slightly modified what daddee66 posted HERE)

Settings - Connections - Modify
Tap on New
Enter a name for connection (Motorola)
Select Hayes Compatible on COM1:
Baud rate (57600)
Tap Next
Country Code (blank) - Area Code (blank) - Phone# (*99#)
Tap Next
Check "cancel if not connected / Uncheck "wait for dial tone"
Enter Dial String : +CGDCONT=1,"IP","WAP.VOICESTREAM.COM"
Tap Finish

Return to Settings

Tap on dialing Locations
Tap New
Make new name for dialing location (mobile phone)
Tap on Dialing Patterns
Raplace all spaces with - G
Tap Ok


To connect:

connect the gomadic cable to both the axim and phone
on the axim goto Settings - Connections - Connections

in the first option, select your device and then connect

when the login screen comes up, select ok. (no login or pw is needed)

That's it, you're mobile now!
