'New' button problem?
WHy does the 'NEW' button on the bottom of the screen keep showing up upon Startup even though it's unchecked in my Settings?
I'd hate to have to do a hard reset just for this, so any help would be dearly appreciated!!

It's supposed to be there? Maybe that's why?

If your talking about the checkbox on the Settings>>Menus>>New Menu that says "Turn on New button menu", that only controls wether to show/hide the up-arrow that appears next to the New menu. I don't think you can entirely turn it off.
