Disappearing Shortcut Icons in Program Folder

Okay, I'm baffled. I have a number of programs installed to multiple SD cards. Over time, the shortcut icons in the programs folder disappear.

At first, I thought it might be the result of soft resets without the SD card in the slot, but I just tested that, and the program icon is still there.

Any ideas?

Got it fugured out (in case anyone was wondering!)

I have Memmaid installed and had the option to delete "dead" shortcuts checked off. So, if the SD card was not in the slot when soft-resetted; the shortcuts were deleted! doh!

There is an option in the cleaner to "ignore references to external cards" which you can turn ON.
while this feature is ON, MemMaid will ignore shortcuts pointing to extrnal cards.
