Contacts in Outlook, How many?
Recently I got an critical memory warning in my contacts. Iwent through and purged all but 72. I read a thread about this matter concerning Calendar and the only answer was to make sure no other programs are running to free up memory.
Questions 1. How many contacts is the max (most of mine have only very basic info) 2. Can the contacts and calendar be stored on my SD card or is it integral to the main memory. tia, Robert Strom | |||

I do believe the contacts and calender database is stored in main memory. I've got about 50 contacts, 2000+ appointments and everything works fine for me.

I've got almost 200 on mine and no memory isses. I do have both an SD and CF card installed. So, I'm not taking up a lot of internal memory with other things.

I use mine for business contacts as well as personal and currenly have over 800 contacts with all phone numbers, addresses and notes included - and suffer no memory issues. I guess your problem relates to main memory usage rather than contacts specifically.

further to my post above - i've just noticed this response in the Pocket Informant FAQ's which seems to relate to the problem you're experiencing with Pocket Outlook.
