Invoke Start Menu From A Program Launcher
Hi there,
I know that it is possible to invoke the start menu by mapping one of the buttons but I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to do it via a shortcut ot program as I'd like to use it on my program launcher (MortButtons). RGDS & TIA Curtis M.

You could use a small MortRunner script that clicks the start menu button (i.e. "MouseClick 5,5" or s.th. like that). Or simply use the start menu as MortButtons submenu. Just select the start menu itself as menu entry.
btw: MortButtons 2.3 was released recently...

Twofold reply here:
1. The file I want to use is part of the ROM (cplmain.cpl) so it is not possibly to copy. 2. As for the MortRunner MouseClick script it works great except on the main "Today" screen If you could assist me with the script so it even works on the Today screen it'd be appreciated. RGDS

1. I'm afraid if you can't copy it, MortRunner can't read it, too. So there's a bad chance of getting the icon... However, i'll try if it works to read the icons of CPLs like DLLs.
2. Strange, never had any troubles with that... But I use a different way to send mouse events in the current beta because there were some troubles with double clicks and Tap&Hold in some programs. Maybe it helps with your problem, too. There are also lots of other new features in the new beta, like file access, internet downloads, input boxes, ForEach loops, expressions as parameters, split command, ...
