Word won't save

I don't want to lose about 6 hours of work.

But when I went to save my word file (it's probably about 10 pages long or so, but nothing fancy in it, just text) I was told I didn't have enough memory. So I deleted all my mp3's and freed up about 73 Mb and went back to save the file. But I keep getting the same error message saying I don't have enough memory and I need to save it to a memory card or discard my changes.

Any suggestions?

If you have a SD card create a folder named My Documents, delete the file name ignore_mydocs from the SD card and save to the My Documents folder on the SD card. If this doesn't work try to move files from the PPC My Documents to the SD card My Documents. I hope this helps.

That is a rather large file, I might suggest in the future you save often, just like you would on a Desktop. You will pick up on memory problems sooner. I also agree to save the file to an alternate location.

Check to see if you are running any other applications. They may be running in the background as minimized tasks. You can use Switcher Bar for this. Close any running programs to free up some memory.

If push comes to shove, create a blank doc on the card, and just cut and paste it over! Its not as pretty as some of the other methods but it should work for you!

Good Luck! :approve:
