Browsing the Web

Hi guys,
Recently I have been surfing the web more and more with the larger availability of wifi connections....Is there a browser out there that is better than PIE...for instance something with multi windows, so when i click something that needs to open a new window it will. Or will view non mobile sites better. Thanks

For free you can get Minimo but its very slow on my axim x50. For $25 you can get Netfront. It has a 45 day trial to thats better than pie. Trial supports 2 windows, smart fit, more features than pie. Full version features unlimited windows, java, javascript, flash, and more!! Good deal for $25!

I'm using MultiIE (www.multiie.com) and am very happy with it. It is a PIE add-on that adds tabs, screen-drag scrolling, button-remapping, and a few other things that make surfing a lot easier.

MultiIE on an X30 Working Well, BUT...

2 complaints about multiIE v.3.1 on my X30 WM2003SE A02 -- they forgot to add a text in page search to the lame PIE (IE 4.0 browser); & they didn't fool web servers into thinking PIE w/ multiIE is IE 5+ compatible. Many sites are now bitching that IE 4.0 isn't supported, e.g., Yahoo.

Does Netfront solve these irritations?

MikeUnwired reported about the Opera for WM5 at iPaqHQ. You need to use a modified dll (as described by cookiekid a couple of posts down in the iPaqHQ thread). The browser does access more websites but it seemed quite a bit slower loading pages on my X51v than PIE so I haven't bothered reinstalling it since I did the A06 upgrade.
